How do you put aside your frustrations when life doesn’t seem to be going your way?
There were questions I received from one of my beautiful coaching clients today where I was guided to write this blog on putting aside your Frustrations…
I wanted to share what I said to her as I know so many of you will get value from it as we have all been in a place where we wanted something to turn out a certain way but instead, we got a very different outcome which may be caused frustration, stress, overwhelm and upset and a whole load more of negative emotions…
The thing is when we expect things to go our way and they don’t that brings us to a place of suffering, you may even fall into victim mode saying “things never work out for me” or something to that tune… I can definitely speak to this because I have been in this place more times than I care to share
I know we would like to control everything and manipulate situations and experiences to always go our way but that’s just not how life works…
We really aren’t in charge… the universe, god, source, or however you relate to that higher energy knows what is best for us to get us to the next level, and until we get the lesson we will continue to relive the same or worse experiences.
So this is the time for acceptance and trade expectations for appreciation (a great quote from Tony Robbins)
How do you do that?
Accept where you are at… that not giving up, but the willingness to experience our lives as it is. This will enable you to surrender and let go of trying to control the situation or experience…
Give up your frustrations to that higher energy. Feel the feelings and emotions that are wreaking havoc in your body then let them go and see if you can find appreciation at the moment….
When you let go of the pain and frustration you can then find the meaning.
The thing is if you continue to resist the negative feeling and continue on the path of “why me”… you are just prolonging your frustrations, pain, and negativity and that is so detrimental to your health in so many ways as it is causing disease in your body and what you resist persist…
Also if the same experience keeps raising its head and the same pattern keeps repeating itself by how your respond to the situation have a look and see what needs are being met in the moment (this is a whole other topic of conversation) drop me a message if you want to know more about this…
Find the meaning in the madness and you will grow, you will become free of the pain and find the gift in the experience.

Breathwork
Get out in nature
Sit in the feelings
EFT
Gratitude
Play with your kids or animals
Listen to calming music
Be kind to yourself, and give yourself lots of self-care and acceptance for where you are at. This is just a season you are going through and just like the seasons, they change and so will your situation if you let it!
